I have always loved books.
I simply love reading.
Now that I have a son I want to make sure that my son loves reading as much as I do.
I have been amassing a collecting of books since before he was conceived. I am the stay at home mama. I have the best job in the world. I turned in my corporate life for dirty diapers, being up all night and laundry. I would not trade it for the world. While my Lesband of 10+ years is off at work, I get to laugh, play and of course read to our son.
I was inspired by other children’s book bloggers to start my own more productive blog. Rather than blogging about postpartum depression and the “mommy blues” I wanted to start injecting more positive energy into my daily life.
Paper Back Swap.com is a great website where you can trade your old books in for new books. I have been a member of the site since 2006. You mail books out to other members and receive a credit, then you are able to request a book from another member. The only cost is in shipping the items. You are able to send the books via media mail which is cheaper than standard shipping. I have found tons of great out of print books, some very valuable. I recommend this site to any avid reader. They have sister sites for swapping CD's and DVD's.
